Terms of Service
Last updated: April 23, 2026
Welcome to UniPulses. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the UniPulses website, mobile applications, APIs, and all related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by UniPulses, Inc. ("UniPulses," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
UniPulses is available to individuals who meet all of the following requirements:
- You are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater).
- You possess a valid
.eduemail address issued by an accredited college or university, or you can otherwise verify your affiliation with a supported educational institution through our verification process. - You are not barred from using the Service under applicable law or a prior ban from UniPulses.
If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf. We reserve the right to request proof of age or university affiliation at any time and to suspend accounts that cannot be verified.
2. Account Registration
To use most features of UniPulses, you must create an account. When you register, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, including a valid
.eduemail address. - Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Promptly notify us at legal@unipulses.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- Create only one account per person. Multi-accounting to manipulate votes, evade bans, or inflate engagement is prohibited.
UniPulses is a pseudonymous platform. Your display name does not need to be your real name, but your verified university affiliation is tied to your account internally for trust and safety purposes. You may not impersonate another person, institution, or entity through your display name or profile.
3. User Content
"User Content" means any text, images, links, polls, comments, votes, and other materials you submit, post, or transmit through the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the following license:
By submitting User Content, you grant UniPulses a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Service. This license continues even if you stop using the Service, but only with respect to User Content that has been shared with other users or made public. If you delete your User Content, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to remove it from the Service, but cached or archived copies may persist for a limited period.
